Cub Foods, located on Texas Avenue South in Minneapolis, is one of more than 110 Cub Foods supermarkets located primarily in the Midwest United States. It also offers customers specialty services, including film developing, postage and lottery tickets. Cub Foods is a member of the Supervalu family of supermarkets. Supervalu acquired Cub Foods in 1980, when there were five stores in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn., area.
