Coon Rapids High School offers educational instruction to students in grades nine through 12. Located in Coon Rapids, Minn., the school has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students. Its curriculum includes advanced placement, honors and basic courses. The school s student services professionals include psychologist, prevention specialist, nurse, minority student advisor and mediator. Its fine arts programs include band, orchestra, choir, theater, debate, speech and art club. The school offers various extracurricular activities, such as student clubs, National Honor Society, vocational student work program, image store and marching cardinals. It has athletic teams for different sports, including baseball, basketball, cross country, tennis, cheerleading, football and tennis. It also provides special education to students with special needs. Coon Rapids High School is a part of the Anoka-Hennepin Independent School District 11.
