My threesome was 10 minutes late for the last tee time of the day (7:05 - we started at 7:14). The ranger had already taken the first 3 flags down and was VERY angry at us and told us to rush through the first 2 holes. We rushed through the first hole (didn't play very well with him watching). He didn't bother to place the flag for our second hole. The third hole went well (scoring 4, 5, 5). On hole #4, while we were all chipping from around the green, the ranger drove up and stopped very close to our play. My friend asked the ranger if he would be rushing us so much if we had shown up 'on time' and couldn't walk any faster- the ranger told him that he would have had to ride in a golfcart. We finished the hole and were walking to the #5 box when the ranger once again, drove over to our group and said that he wouldn't hesitate to "kick us off the course" if my friend "lipped off" to him again. He then said that he's "seen 74 Y.O. players play faster." He drove off. We decided to leave.
