I worked for ATA Staffing for 1 night. The work site was 25 miles from home and spanish seemed to be the language of choice. After following their instructions exactly and working for seven and a half hours, I told a man I presumed to be the supervisor that the job just wasn't for me. He said that he understood and thanked me for my work. After several weeks, I contacted the ATA office and asked about a paycheck. I was told that they don't mail out checks but i could pick it up there. After another drive across town, I was handed a check for three (3) hours of work. When I disputed the hours, they said that is what their records show I worked. Before turning physically violent, I threw the puny check on the counter; told them what they could do with the check; and went home with a blood pressure in the deadly range. There is no way on God's green Earth I would EVER consider working for them ever again. (I don't feel like getting screwed again!)
