Don't take the CPR!!!!!

I am a busy health care professional. I signed up for my CPR Re certification for the first time this year with the american red cross. The actual class is at least 4 hours at their office building. Before you can even attend the class you have to complete online training. The online training is extremely lengthy and tedious, and If you internet connection is slow or if your computer is not up to date with all the software you are likely to have technical problems. You have to click on pictures and do things in proper order to pass the online portion. I felt, at times that I was being treated rather condescendingly and that the online training was almost treating me like a child. Then, when I was almost halfway through, I started having more MORE technical difficulties. I was required to click on the pictures to demonstrate the correct way to set up an AED device. I tried over and over and over to plug the virtual device in and it would not work! I became so very very frustrated that I canceled my class entirely! I will pay the penalty for cancellation and get my retraining with another organization.
To the not so bright people at the American Red Cross who designed this CPR program I offer a few words of wisdom:
1. We are busy health care professionals. We have been working long days and we are most likely tired. WE DO NOT want to have to take a tedious online CPR class before we can take the actual class. Hands on learning is just fine, thank you. We don't need this much redundancy, nor do we have time for it.
2. We do not like being treated like children and having to click on cartoon images "do this first, do this second, no that's not quite right." over and over again.
3. If you are going to offer an online class, at least try to work the technology bugs out of it. We don't have the time or patience.
I will probably never take a class from the American Red Cross again.
