I have always had great service at the Lafayette Loc., but just had the worst experience (ever) at the University Loc. Went in for a car loan, have always gotten the best interest rates and had the exact same qualifications. Four times, I have never paid more than 4% interest, because of my continued usage at the Lafayette Loc. Simply asked the University Loc. to match rates again, they would not, would only allow the extra 3% and they could not give me a reason why. Asked to speak to the manager and he told me he could "give me that rate if he wanted to, I have the power to do that," but he would not match the rate. He actually seemed happy NOT to "exercise his power". I then drove over to the Lafayette Loc. and they matched rates again with-out a second thought. Today I even received a letter from the University Loc. with a bunch of Corporate talk. I will never go to the University Loc. again, but will be glad to return to the Lafayette location (service in all areas a plus).
