My father was embalmed by Golden Gate 5665 N Teutonia Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53209 (414) 358-0538 without next of KIN permission. My father did not want to be embalmed he asked to be cremated. We asked them who gave them permission to go ahead with this procedure they stated the state required it. I feel that mutilated my father’s body he did not want this procedure done and they are now charging us an extra 800.00 for this service that was not authorized by next of KIN., We are already struggling to come up with this money now we need to deal with the pain of knowing they did the one thing he requested not to be done. We all live out of state but my sister arranged to go to WI on Wednesday in which we were told pay 4k or you abandon him. I cant believe this is legal at all. It is clearly documented we are his next of KIN this should not have been allowed. These people are worst then loan sharks and I have filed a law suit do not send your love ones here they will charge you just to breathe in the funeral home
