Newtek has poor customer service and several incompetent employees and managers. We do not recommend any business use their services. On multiple occasions, important correspondence was sent to Newtek for account changes and responses to notifications and Newtek failed to take appropriate action. In one case, Newtek's actions led to a chargeback. Despite their errors, they hassled me and threatened legal action against me without even providing documentation to support their case against our business. We have done nothing wrong and were always responsive and cooperative. We also tried to hire Newtek to build a website. After 9 months of stringing our business along, they eventually admitted they could not build the website that we had specified at the beginning of the project. All I can say is that while there are many nice people working at Newtek, the overall quality of service is poor and it's better to go elsewhere than find your business languishing with Newtek.
