My experience with the Homewood Suites Downtown was the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life. I had been talking with the sales department about booking a block of rooms for my wedding. They provided me with an initial quote which I was satisfied with and asked for a tour of the hotel. The Director of Sales then did not contact me in regards to a tour and did not reach out to discuss the contract further. I waited a few weeks to hear back because I knew that they had just opened and were probably getting their feet on their ground. I reached out a few weeks later and they refused to honor the initial contract. They then sent me a new contract with a price increase of 100$ per room! I can't believe that they would increase the price that our family and friends would by paying by so much with it relating to the staff's mistake. The Director of Sales then refused to provide me a phone number where I would be able to reach her to discuss this further. The sales staff at the hotel were inflexible, terrible to work with, and rude. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone.
