I have been taking my dogs to Nancy for years.She is always pleasant and accomodating my dogs love going to Barley's!!!

How could you not love a place with such a cute name?! And Nancy is the best!

Brandi, I believe you came in wanting your dog groomed at the end of the day. Grooming at my shop does take 4 hours (sometimes less) because I let the dogs socialize and get acclimated to there surroundings before grooming them. I find that the dogs are more comfortable this way. You asked for pricing and then compared my costs and time needed to another grooming facility. All my quotes are starting prices, they can go up or down depending hair type and condition and temperament. You were the one that had gotten upset because I wouldn't help you out right away. It is my policy to not take grooming walk ins because I always require vaccination info and most people don't carry that on them. You never ONCE asked for nails only. I am not a racist, I have clients of all races. No one has complained yet.

I stopped in today to make an appointment to get my dog's nails clipped and was quite disappointed in what happened. The lady at the front desk which I assume was the owned was very rude. I asked if she had any late day appointments and she said she only has appointments at 9am. She didn't even ask me what I needed done. I then repeated my request fotr an afternoon appointment and she said said it takes 4 hours for all her services. REALLY!!! 4 hours yea right. She acted as though I was bothering her and got real snippy after I asked would a nail trim take 4 hours. LOOK LADY if you don't want future appointments keep doing what you are doing and pray you never need any new business. There was another guy there as well and she didn't speak to him how she spoke to me. She spoke with him in her nice tone and seemed to really be able accommodate his needs. I would hate to think this was a racial issue but the difference of treatment was very clear. I would not recommend this place to anyone even though we have limited groomers hear in the north shore area, she will not be on my go to list!!!
