A professional from Wayne's Heating & Air Conditioning serviced my central AC at the beginning of last summer with no problem. While he was there, I asked him to please install a new thermostat I had purchased. At first, he refused, stating that I could do it myself. When I politely told him that I would really prefer him to do it, he reluctantly installed it (which took him about 10 minutes). Jump ahead to 2 weeks ago, when my AC again failed to work. I called Wayne's heating and air conditioning, but repeatedly received a message saying that they could not be reached at this time. After several more attempts that day, a receptionist answered my call and set me up an appointment for the following Wednesday. I made arrangements with my boss so that I could be home for this appointment. However, no one ever called or showed up. Over the course of the next week, I continued to call the company's number, but only got a voicemail. I left a message, but each day, did not receive a return call. Finally, after calling the number every day or so for about 10 days, a receptionist answered and hastily told me that it would be at least another week before anyone would be able to assist me. When I politely asked why my appointment (from almost 2 weeks before) was not kept, she ignored my question and repeated that it would be "at least until next week" and that they "definitely have my number" (obviously a sarcastic reply to my repeated phone calls). The bottom line here: if you want your home's AC fixed at all, DO NOT CALL WAYNE'S HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING!!!!
