Freewater Elementary School serves more than 330 students in kindergarten through fifth grades. It has a staff of over 60 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes classroom teachers, special educators, speech therapists, art and music professionals, custodians, and health and physical education instructors. Freewater Elementary School conducts special classes in the English as a Second Language program, special education, media, language arts, speech, and art and music. The school maintains a library that has a collection of more than 10,000 books, including picture books, fiction and nonfiction titles, as well as databases, reference materials, magazines and newspapers. Freewater Elementary School is a part of Milton-Freewater Unified School District 7 and is located in Milton-Freewater, Ore.
