I took off work for a scheduled appointment with Millington Floor Covering today. They were supposed to arrive at my home to deliver hardwood flooring around 8:30am. They never showed up. I never got a call, an explaination or anything. I had to call them at least 5 times & even attempted to call the lead guy, Junior, who wouldn’t answer my call. The ladies at the company couldn’t even tell me if my flooring was on the truck. No one even contacted me, nor did they even seem to know what was going on when I called them. I even spoke to one of the women several times the day before to schedule this appointment. I am shocked, disgusted and extremely disappointed. I have wasted an entire day, trying to patiently wait for them to arrive or even contact me and let me know something. To my dismay I received no calls, answers or even excuse as to why they never showed, nor do they seem to care about my inconvenience. I’m not one to complain, but today I am. These people do not realize they took a day away from the time I could be spending with my mother, who is in the hospital, dying of congested heart failure. I took the day off from work and my time with my mother. Lesson learned! I work with customers on a daily basis at my job and I would lose my job if I conducted business this way. You have to realize that everyone’s time is valuable and as a company who wants to be above the standard of service the public gets, you have to go above and beyond and at least be respectable to earn respect. I am truly ashamed that I even missed out on seeing my mom today, or trying to trust this company to do what they scheduled. So be aware of companies that sound great, because most of the time they just want your money and could care less about you. I will be using a different company now. Maybe a little further away, but well worth it! This company has definitely left me with a bad outlook on their service.
