2 years ago i brought in a dress to shortened the sleeves.when I picked it up,the sleeves had not been shortened,but the woman argued the sleeves had been shortened.I even tried on the dress to show her.how could she give me the dress back without having touch it? I was so discussed that I payed & left.Now my husband took a pair of pants to shortened & you could see all the stitching as if it was done by a 3 year old.Again I have to take the pants to another tailor to do over.Twice is enough.no more.

Screwed me! This nasty woman is a liar and out to take advantage of whoever she encounters. She threatened me and harassed me via the telephone. I'm unsure if I should call the police. Save yourself a headache and don't ever go there.

I will NEVER go back to Irene's Tailoring. I took my daughter's dress in to replace a broken zipper. I was told it would cost "around $14" and be ready in a week (which it was not). At pick it up, I was told the cost was $20. I was not given a receipt. Since no prices are posted, I have no idea what the correct price was or if she "pocketed" the difference. When I showed the dress to my sister (who was with me and knows how to sew), we told the woman that the zipper was attached to the outside of the dress and looked wrong. She insisted it was replaced as it had been originally. We said it did not look like that, and then she said there had been lace edging the original zipper but it could not be saved when they replaced the zipper (which I should have been told before work was done). My sister replied "I would not wear it looking like this" and she responded "well neither would I". The dress is "unwearable" in this state. This place is not customer focused and this woman is just rude!

Best tailor/seamstress in the area. been taking all my business suits there for more than 3 years and have never been disappointed.
