Healthsource of Ohio at Loveland has been a lifeline to my family. Our first experience happened when my husband had really bad breathing because of bronchitis and copd and we didn't have insurance. We had gone to urgent care and paid cash for them to do a chest X-ray and say he had a virus. They still sent him home with a zpack and said he would have to follow up with his primary care for a nebulizer even though they knew we didn't have insurance or the money for a nebulizer machine. They did say h had high blood pressure but they don't treat chronic illness so they have him one dose of meds and sent us home. Two days later he was worse so even though it was a holiday weekend, we called the office by our house in Goshen and told them what was wrong. They let us come right up, told us to come back as soon as we got there and the nurse practitioner met us in the room. She listened to his lungs and said he wasn't getting enough oxygen so they did a breathing treatment. Then they did an EKG because he had high BP and she said he wasn't just having COPD, he was having a heart attack. They called 911 and sent us the hospital. He had 3 stents put in and a pacemaker. They saved his life. I'm so grateful. I know others may have their issues with this place, but I think that's just because they won't give out narcotics. They are great doctors.

I called Goshen Family Practices because I have a cyst that needed removed. They asked me on the phone why I wanted to see a doctor and I told them I have a cyst on my back that needs removed. They also ask me how long I've had it. I tell them 20 years or more and then they ask me why I want it removed and I say because people are starting to notice it and making comment about it. I'm feeling self conscience about it. They set up an appointment for me to see Fiza Warsi. I am feeling proud of myself for finally taking care of this problem.

Today was the appointment and again they ask me why I am here and I tell them it is because I have a cyst ! The doctor sees me and says, "It's a cyst, we don't remove them here you will have to see a surgeon or a dermatologist." I told her I already knew it was a cyst and why did I just waste two hours of my life to tell me something I already knew ?

They did let me talk to an office manager but it did little to solve my aggravation with this visit. Somewhere along the chain of events that led to this fiasco I should have been informed that they do not remove cysts. Not happy one bit.

The Worst Healthcare Ever Experienced

First off, I was a patient at Goshen Family Practice for eight years. I have the knowledge of this office to be able to write an accurate review.

If you have an appointment at Goshen Family Practice at 11 in the morning, don't expect to leave until somewhere around 2 at least. The office is completely over-booked. The receptionist is pitiful, so don't ask her why you've been waiting for so long because she will cry; literally. And this will not happen once or twice. This will be the case every single time you are in that office. Either sit down and get used to it and wait however long it takes or get dismissed; literally.

I took my daughter to the office to have blood drawn. The inexperienced woman that drew her blood left a bruise that lasted for at least a week. The blood didn't even come out of my daughter's arm. She got about two or three drops. The lady drawing the blood took the blood out of the room to the doctor and asked if it would be enough. It was disgusting, unsanitary and my daughter cried all the way home saying she never wanted to go back to that office again. Ever.

A few months ago, my son had a problem with his back. They sent him to a specialist to have some xrays done. I NEVER GOT THE RESULTS of those tests; despite having called to ask about them several times. No one ever knew what I was even talking about. I called the place where he had the tests done and they told me the results were sent to the doctor. Never did get the results. Fortunately, his back was okay.

A couple months ago, I requested my children's immunizations records from an office in another town that my children went to when they were younger. The letter that I signed to be mailed to the office in the other town was sent to ME at my home address stating these were not patients of theirs!!! It was supposed to go to the office in the other town to find out if my children were all up to date on their shots! That's pretty important! I called the other office and they said that they never heard a word about it.

Then, about a month or so ago, my son and I were in for an appointment and were told to come in the back door. I wasn't even able to go to the front and sign him in. A nurse said that she would do it. An hour passed and not even the nurse came in to check his vitals, so I asked. Why have we been sitting here literally an hour past our appointment time and haven't even seen the nurse to get my son's vitals? The receptionist threw a fit, started bawling her eyeballs out, I was escorted back to my room (because God forbid you go to the front of the office to make sure you were signed in and ask why you'd been waiting for an hour), and then we were properly dismissed from the location.

I am still in shock.

My daughter has epilepsy, I have heart palpitations. And they are just going to dismiss someone because they asked why they had been waiting for an hour past their appointment time. Of course, the whole story changes when they report it because they have to have an actual REASON WHY they dismissed a patient. Oh profanity was used and they felt threatened and all kinds of things.

ALL I DID WAS ASK WHY WE HAD BEEN SITTING FOR AN HOUR PAST OUR APPOINTMENT TIME AND SEEN ABSOLUTELY NO ONE.

The whole place is completely unorganized, unsanitary, over-booked, dramatic (I'm not the only one that complained - the receptionist told me that I was the last of everyone in the place to complain) and the staff is horrible as well.

Don't go there.

Pick another place. Drive the extra five or ten miles if you have to, but

DO NOT CHOOSE GOSHEN FAMILY PRACTICE.
