Dr. Ahmed is such an amazing nurturing loving and thorough Dr. She makes you feel like you're her most important patient. Her staff is amazing as well you will feel like family. Milford hospital is such a hidden gem. Delivering there is like being at a spa! The nursing staff in incredible!

I went there briefly and will never go back! I had a placenta previa (which is fairly common) and was told I couldn't return to work for the duration of my pregnancy, had to be on strict bed rest and had to have someone with me 24/7 or I could "bleed out". Went to a high risk pregnancy specialist who was appalled at their advice and let me return to work with some modifications. They do not know what to do for anything other then routine pregnancies in my opinion!

I think that seaside is awesome! Dr.Ahmed is great every visit. I recommend her to everyone who chooses to visit.

Dr. Ahmed is great, however the staff at Seaside OB-GYN is unprofessional and disorganized.



1) They lost the results of my pap smear, and didn't even apologize. They just acted as though it wasn't a big deal and that they would probably find them later. They weren't even sure from looking at my chart when the last time I had a pap smear was (even though it was just a few weeks ago in that office). That didn’t' stop them from billing me for it, of course. And they never called me to let me know whether they found it or not.



2) They've rescheduled just about every appointment I've made. On the one day when they didn't reschedule, there was another woman in the waiting room at 8am, and they told her that her appointment just wasn't available (due to a scheduling error).



3) I called to ask for the address of the appointment they scheduled for me for my nuchal translucency screening at 12 weeks. The person on the line said "A nuchal what? What's that?"... are you kidding me? Even if she didn't know, why would she ask me?



4) When I called to reschedule my appointment (at their request), the woman didn't give me a new date and just said "Ok then, you're all set." When I reminded her that I didn't have a new date, she put me on hold. ???



It's really too bad because I do like Dr. Ahmed and had wanted her be there for my baby's delivery. Unfortunately, she's chosen to surround herself with a staff who doesn't know what they're doing and doesn't know how to treat patients. Either that, or their practice has invested in the world's worst scheduling software and its just too inconvenient for me to deal with. I will be finding a new doctor.

Dr. Ricks is very caring, took her time with me and was very easy to talk to. She was up to date in her medical expertice and solved a problem my past ob could not. She followed up on my labs and tests herself. Would be comfortable sending my daughter, mom or best friend to her office.
