I would like to let everyone know that the Sears technician who came to our home was the paragon of professionalism. He was a very tall man named Michael. This man tore through our dryer with the skill of a surgeon, never once complaining about the small and confined space the dryer occupied or the room where he was working (no air conditioning - it was 90+ degrees with high humidity). Not only was he adept at his trade, he was extremely meticulous and respectful of the walls and other “obstacles” that clearly made his job 10x harder. He went through a number of tests, metering out continuity over lines, checking fuses, control boards, blower motor etc. until finally he found the problem. When he was finished, he quietly walked up the stairs and said he was finished and that all was now well. This man was a Godsend. In all of my many decades on this earth, I HAVE NEVER SEEN A TECHNICIAN WITH A GREATER KNOWLEDGE, INTELLIGENCE, OR SKILL THAN MICHAEL. He was truly the best of the best. GOD bless him and his family.

Have a dishwasher with an infrequent leak. Took photos of the leak to show the tech. Tech arrived on time and looked at the dishwasher and said we were using too much detergent. I told him that the last Sears tech said the same thing and so recommended we use detergent "pods" to avoid oversudsing, so that wasn't the problem. He couldn't find the problem, then tried to charge me for not only the diagnosis (which has not truly been diagnosed), but a remedy (oversudsing) which did not provide a remedy. Had to get the supervisor on the phone to get the tech to remove the fee for the remedy removed from the bill. I realize that diagnosing problems is difficult, but if they can't find the problem -- much less solve it -- don't charge me for fixing the problem. Note that this happened the previous time a Sears tech came to investigate the matter. The other problem I saw is that when I signed up for the appointment, I was told there would be a diagnostic fee and that once the diagnosis was complete, I would be told and would have to approve the cost of repairs. I was neither advised, nor did I agree to the repairs. This has happened more than once with Sears technicians. Too bad, as it damages the Sears brand.

Called. Was on time. Did a great job vacuuming and fixing our dryer at a reasonable cost, which he advised of prior to starting the work.

first of all,he did't introduce to me.I didn't even know his name.After that he talk to me about the money.He asked me whether I have the money to pay.I know the that I have to pay for the diagnostic service which is $79 .And my washing machine is like new,it's only two and half year old. i know its not a big deal. He looks at the washing machine and try to check the water pipe and than he try to look at filter. There was a stocking struck in that filter.He told me to pull that stocking.I pulled the stocking from the filter and he charged 90 dollars for that job without asking me anything.If it is a repair he should have ask me whether he can fix it with how much he can charge on me.But to my notice he didn't say anything about the repair.He just put some extra repair charge to my credit card which he didn't do anything from his side.All this lasted only for about 10 minutes.How dare he charge 90 dollars for that.Secondly he is very rude to tell the customer to pull the stocking from the filter.I didn't expect the technician like that in sears repair service.Technician should be polite,respectful and courtesy.

Always find what I want in the store and are very accommodating with any questions. The repair man was very good, he reviewed the repairs he was doing and explaining what happened to the switches and why they needed to be replaced. Answered all my questions.

The service was excellent. I was kept informed as to when he would arrive. He was friendly and very knowledgeable even about my 12 year old Kenmore Elite Washer. It was repaired quickly and with no mess! I would certainly recommend Sears Appliance Repair.

POOR RESPONSE WHEN TRYING TO DECIPHER WHAT THE TEC WROTE ON THE RECEIPT. MANY ATTEMPTS MADE TO FIND OUT WHAT HE COULD NOT DO AND THE TEC NEVER RETURNED ANY CALLS AFTER LEAVING SEVERAL REQUESTS OVER A PERIOD OF ONE WEEK.

The technician was terrific. He was prompt, polite and very neat. He was a friendly true professional who knew what he was doing. We were having company for dinner and he was able to work around his. He was so friendly he felt like family and he fixed our microwave in 1 visit. Sears you have a gem in this technician. Dennis

I've had a blanket coverage plan for all of my appliances for years! You can't beat the price and any repairs that have been done on them are always efficient and done in a timely manner. As far as the repiarmen themselves, I rate them 10 stars! Always, friendly, helpful and knowlegable in any repair problem they are faced with! Highly recommend Sears Repair and their competent field of repairmen!
