I went to Gusto's this evening for my job's holiday party. We went for Milford's restaurant week and I had a terrible experience but I am all about second chances and that is where the majority wanted to go so I obliged. The first time I went I sent my meal back twice for being incorrect and after the second time I declined being offered another meal but when The bill came I was charged. Tonight we sat, got drinks had great conversation ordered our meal...it was separate checks so we had to walk to the bar for a drink and I couldn't help but notice the drunks in the corner. I got my meal started with a salad and had rigatoni alla vodka for an entrée. Being that I've been wronged by this place before I told my waiter about the negative experience that I had and was assured that my pasta could be made without onion, so I ordered it. I got my salad which was fine and then a few bites into my pasta there they were, onions. I didn't say anything and when I got my meal I excused myself and asked the obviously drunk hostess to speak to the manager and guess who showed up??? One of the drunk guys from the bar. He walked over with his mouth hanging open and just stared at me. So I initiated the conversation and the manager/owner said "I don't have sauces with no onion" and I explained that it wasn't expressed to me that way and then he flipped out. Yelling at my innocent waiter who did exactly what he had to for me,yelling that he should've wrote "on onion" in pen, although the ticket stated it. and yelled that he always loses money and then the cook who was at the bar drinking with him started yelling saying "she eats everything" and he slammed his key card down and went back to the bar leaving this wonderful waiter to apologize for everything. I don't know if it's an Italian thing to be so classless, but I've only been treated to badly in Italian restaurants. I hope no one else ever gets treated so poorly. Don't go there. Over price, mediocre quality and apart from my waiter, horrible service all around.

Great food!

If you want an Italian place that has it all...Gusto's Trattoria is the place. Beautiful ambiance and yet family friendly in the large dining room and the newly renovated bar room is a favorite gathering place for those that prefer a more casual meeting place for apps & cocktails, or dining. From soups to appetizers, to steaks, pasta, and dessert, you will never leave disappointed!

I have taken visitors that are familiar with fine dining from out west, down south, and Europe to Gusto's, and they are eager to go there again. A family owned and operated restaurant that I look forward to frequenting at least a couple times a month.

Great Early bird

Gustos is a great Italian restaurant with an exceptional early bird special. They also have a nice big room you can have for a party.
