If I could give no stars I could, this place is an absolute nightmare!!! This shop in at a convienent location in Midland Park, the parking situation could be a lot better. Inside the shop looks like a disaster, there's a strange smell and there is junk all over the place. The woman, Fidencia, barely achknowledges you when you walk in if there are other customers there, a "I'll be right with you" would have been nice.



I brought my wedding dress there for the first time on May 27th 2011. I had some reservations about leaving my dress with her due to the fact that she did not seem farmiliar with the corset back and kept telling me I didn't want it altered the way I wanted it altered because it was too hard to do. All I asked was that the dress be shortened and the bust line be tightened so that I would not fall out of my dress on my wedding day.



I went for my first fitting on August 13--almost 3 months later--and the dress was an absolute disaster. She was annoyed that my mother and bridesmaid wanted to learn how to do the corset. I noticed that the dress was not even at the bottom, you could see me left foot and the dress was dragging on the floor in front of my right foot. I asked Fidencia to fix it and she said it was fine and it was supposed to be like that. Also, the top was not tight enough where I had asked her to take it in, she said it was too difficult to take out the seam because of the beading.



Once the dress was finally all laced up, I asked her again to fix the length, a ballgown should be the same length, especially in the front and she turned around and SREAMED in my face (seriously, no exaggeration, she screamed in my face) that this dress is too difficult to alter and it would be fine the way it is, and proceeded to called me stupid. I also noticed there were several pulls in the satin which she said was fine. Lady, this is not fine!!!!



So here I am, 35 days away from my wedding with a trashed $3,000 wedding dress and a $500 bill from Fidencia Castrillo. In the nicest way I could possibly put it, this lady is untalented and unprofessional. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN!!!
