Founded in 1935, the Orange Bowl Committee is a nonprofit organization that conducts various sports, entertainment and community events and festivals in South Florida. It hosts bowling, football, basketball and tennis tournaments. The committee also organizes sailing competitions and the FedEx Orange Bowl National Championship. Its official logo for the FedEx Orange Bowl National Championship, The PATCH, represents more than 15 games and a halftime show. The Orange Bowl Committee sells tickets for several events and works in partnership with FedEx, Budweiser, Toyota, Fountainebleau Resorts, AvMed and Fox Sports Interactive Media. It operates an online store that sells T-shirts, caps, helmets and soft toys. The committee has more than 300 members.
