I'm a volvo for life guy, have only let the dealership work on my cars. But after the first visit here since moving to miami I am a customer for life.

I was referred to Swedish Motors and believe me the end results for my 2007 S40 was excellent. Chase is the best, extremely knowledgable and professional. My car was riding really rough like boulders were in the engine, now it feels like I'm riding on a cloud. I have taken my car to the dealer before and even they could not fix it the way Swedish Motors did. I'm now a loyal customer, thanks Swedish Motors!

Absolutely a pleasure to deal with. These guys really know EVERYTHING about Volvos from the '60s-'80s "classics" including my '93 245 to more modern Volvos. I was VERY impressed with just how knowledgable and friendly Rolf (a true Swede) and Chase were. I've owned five Volvos 240s and 940s for many years and I couldn't have been more pleased with the work they performed. They let me know what items needed addressing immediately and those that could wait. Turn-around was fast and they explained all work done thoroughly. Their prices were very reasonable. WAY more competent than the Volvo dealership! Super, super pleased I found them!

I have known Rolf for 25 years. I had a few Volvos in my life.

If I wanted to make an example about a knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest businessman, Rolf and his Swedish Motors would be my first choice.

This Volvo service and repair shop in Miami is as good and inexpensive as anything you could find in Sweden. Rolf has brought the Swedish philosophy of Lagom - appropriate repairs at reasonable prices. Rather than charging for everything they always seem to do a little extra at no charge, but without making a deal out of it, so that you always feel that you got more than you paid for, and the next time you will not postpone the service but go as soon as possible. TV and coffee is nice, but if I could suggest an improvement: Install wireless so clients can surf the web on their own devices while waiting!

These are highly knowledgeable and seasoned professionals who are have created a service philosophy built on making sure that the owner of the car understands what is happening with their vehicle without getting ripped off! This mechanic was highly recommended by a close friend. Due to economic, I was unable get my car service for over a year. I finally receive funds and decided to try out Swedish Motors - I drove over 45 minutes - I live two counties away. The Swedish born mechanic and business owner roll out the red carpet for me. He explained to me why is important to keep the car service on time and how Volvo vehicles work. Compared to the dealership I saved a huge amount of money and the service time was not long to amount work needed to be done on my car. Thanks Swedish Motors for a job well done. I do not mind the drive, because it's worth every penny - nevertheless to say every dollar.

These guys run a first-class show! It's a bare bones, low-rent space. But who cares? They know their stuff and use good parts. No pressure, just competent, friendly, low-pressure and very reasonable compared to the dealerships. They made a customer for life of me. I brought in my S80 for a fouled fuel injector. Very simple repair. When Rolf called to say it was ready, he mentioned that the front strut was shot; broken and leaking. He didn't push, just mentioned it, and I knew he was right. I told him to fix it while it was there. When I picked it up, he didn't charge for cleaning the fuel injector. "It was so simple," he said. "And we were working on the car anyway". I suddenly felt that it might be possible to survive South Florida if all businesses were like this one!

From the ‘current’ magazines and fresh coffee in the clean front office to the friendly yet professional service, this repair shop has my vote.

As a women (and ladies you know what I am talking about!), I was treated with respect and not mislead to thinking my car needed more repairs then were necessary.

Volvos are amazing cars that will last forever, if serviced by someone with knowledge specific to Volvos. These are your guys. Now that I have found them I will not go anywhere else.
