Ransom Everglades Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes a range of subjects, such as English, mathematics, social studies, science, physical education and fine arts electives. The school also provides a range of foreign language programs in Italian, Greek, German, Japanese, Hebrew, Hindi, French, Spanish and Mandarin. In addition, it provides sessions on various issues and areas of interest, such as self-esteem development, sexuality, stress management, communicating, decision making, peer pressure, relationships and career choices. The school provides courses related to the development of library skills that include computer usage and access to the electronically catalogued volumes. Its sports activities include baseball, football, softball, volleyball, soccer, basketball, swimming, and track and field.
