Miami-Dade Military Museum and Memorial
12460 SW 152nd St, Miami, FL 33177
The mission of the Miami-Dade Military Museum is to preserve and present south Florida’s rich military heritage to inspire and educate future Americans.
The Museum plays a key role in south Florida's military history, displaying artifacts from south Florida veterans from WWII to the present day. We honor all branches of the US Armed Forces, as well as its clandestine services. We especially recognize the service, the sacrifice, and the accomplishments of the active military, veterans, families and supporters of this great community.
Our historic building was built during WWII by the Navy, later serving as headquarters for the CIA during the 1960s, an Army Reserve Center during the Vietnam Era, and our Marine Corps Reserve Center up until Desert Storm. The mission of the Miami-Dade Military Museum is to preserve and present south Florida’s rich military heritage to inspire and educate future Americans.
