This place is great! When I first moved to Coral Gables I was searching for a good tattoo shop and am very glad I found this one. The interior is clean, organized, interesting, and of course green! I've been pierced and tattooed by OJ. He gave me suggestions and advice and helped me work on my designs until I had exactly what I wanted. The tattoos came out great, the colors haven't faded, and I get compliments on them often.



All the staff are considerate and ready to discuss ideas. Green Machine is a comfortable setting in which to get a tattoo - there is artwork on the walls and you can even pick what channel the TV is on if you want (not to mention great music). They have a private room for piercings. Overall, great shop and I will definitely keep coming back!

I was looking to do a tattoo sleeve for quite sometime and I did my research. I went from word of mouth to traveling around. After countless encounters with crappy tattoo shops with false promises I almost gave up (your typical cliche' carbon copy cookie cut Miami tattoo shop where there is no care or love for the art it's all about money, greed, and some random flash tattoos is all that's offered) I had completely given up and decided to wait to travel to Los Angeles for my piece. Last summer I curiously walked into GREEN MACHINE Tattoos with my Wife, and was surprised how professional, clean, and PERFECT the shop and the artists were. I knew in my heart this was place. I told James, the owner, that I would return in a few months to begin; and that I did. I haven't turned back since. At this point, I will never ever go to another shop for ink. This is my place, I can call it home. My hometown shop. I don't just say this because Chris, James, and Santi hold a special place in my heart now, but because quality is QUALITY and you can't put a price on EXCELLENCE. My first piece was a tiger sleeve (on my forearm) which I must say was more than a reasonable price for the work. Green Machine doesn't charge by the hour. They charge by the piece or the session which is very reasonable. The most important component of the shop is that they specialize in CUSTOM work, not some rinky dink work. These guys mean serious business. The unique part of it all is that all the artists have their own special abilities and strengths. James is all-around excellent and can do portraits and just about anything your heart desires. He is a true artist, plus he has a Bachelor's Degree in Art. Chris's work is phenomenal, intriguing, wonderful, and exceptional. I haven't gotten work with him yet but I plan on soon, he's amazing. Trust me! Santi's work is quality old era work, epic, and custom. You need to stop by the shop and just look at all the work on the walls. Look into their work books and just talk to them. If you don't feel comfortable, then you may as well move to Mars because these guys are the BEST. Good luck if you decide to go to Miami Beach for a piece. It will not be as good and it will be twice the expense.

  My second piece is a dragon tattoo connecting to my tiger (all custom) which I am currently working on with James. I wish I could post a picture on here so you could see how amazing the work is. Your eyes would pop out of your skull. No joke. The amazing eye and intuition that James has is a gift from the gods indeed. I'm fortunate to have found them and I hope that as you read this you will make the decision to drop into Green Machine Tattoos because this is by far the BEST tattoo shop in Miami. If you don't believe me, check em' out on Miami New Times, They got voted best shop. These guys are taking off, my advice is drop in and get that piece your heart desires. Quality work at Quality value. Don't put faith in some artist that you don't know nothing of. Also, the sanitation process involved is uncanny. These gentlemen sure do work clean and precise. They are great guys who will look after you and will take care of your needs. My suggestion is, drop in, bring in your custom concept, make an appointment, get your ink, leave happy. Tattoos are permanent, if you're going to do one, do it RIGHT. The place was very clean and so was the piercer Rob. I watched him wash his hands and when he wore gloves he did not touch anything but the tools on his tray. I have been to places where they touch the dirty furniture and then touch your face with the same dirty hands. You don't have to worry about that at this place. I do see myself coming back and bringing friends.

Hello my name is Gabriel i have been a fan of James Rossi work now for about 4 years. i have a been going to there shop since they opened about a year ago, The shop looks great and have a great selection of tatto books, pictures, drawing. they aslo do piercing"s on the spot and have a case full of jewerly to choose from.I'm sure you guys will do great there. I got my nose piercing with Rob and he made it very relaxing. He explained aftercare and the procedure in detail. I highly recommend him.

I already have gotten 3 piercings from Rob and he is amazing. He has done my nose, tragus, and belly. The place is very clean and he makes sure everything is sterile. I recommend any one getting a piercing to have it done with Rob. - Beth
