General Hauling is a good professional family run business. There service has always been prompt and on time with maybe one or two exceptions around the holidays. I like their service overall.However, there does seem to be an ongoing performance deficiency in the billing and accounting department that has caused unwarranted interruptions is service. It would be in the best interest for any prospective consumer to keep accurate billing records and proof of payment, and should not depend solely on the accounting and billing skills at General. It is advised to try to avoid directly communicating with this department. My accounting employees have been subjected to unwarranted, unprovoked, unprofessional, inappropriate threatining language from their personnel, even after providing unrefutable proof of payment. Unfortunately, this is the only negative component of their service, but will be the main reason we will be changing our personal and commercial services to another local company.
