This place is the real deal. The transmission in my 1993 Toyota pickup needed to be rebuilt. Service manager at Toyota dealership didn't even know who did this in Miami. Toyota stopped making this transmission years ago. My Body Shop told me that Alonso Transmission was the ONLY place in Miami to do a rebuild. Boy were they right. Ray & his staff treated me like royalty, did a great job at a fair price & my truck hasn't run this well in 15 years. They even found and fixed some issues and replaced some parts that the Master Mechanic at the Toyota dealership didn't catch. Ray and Ralph are true professionals. I had my Chevy Cruz clutch replaced, also my radiator was repaired from a leak. The pricing was fair for the work that they did. I am very happy and will definetly return.

Ray and Ralph are true professionals. I had my 20 year old Mazda b2300 clutch replaced also my a/c was repaired and a small radiator leak was fixed. The pricing was very fair for the work that they did. After a week my a/c broke again and I took it back. It was repaired again no charge no questions asked. I am a new customer to Alonso Transmission. In my opinion they are a first class mechanic shop that repaired the problem with my PT Cruiser convertible manual transmission. The entire shift cable and clutch system had to be replaced. This was a big job. Ask for Ray, who was most helpful in making the repair possible and being most fair with the pricing. Now the car runs like new and I am most satisfied. Thanks very much to Alonso Transmissions and specially to Ray.

My company relies on having our vehicles on the road and making sure that my customers are never stranded or left behind. And a huge Thank You to Alonso and Ralph wouldn't even come close to how thankful I am to have met them and used their services. A day from e very important assignment, my transmission said ( I quit ) this was at approximately 3:00pm I had this even to attend to the very next day at noon. Well, I was promised I'd have my Expedition on the road by 8:00am, and by 7:55am I was picking my car up and on my way to work. Alonso Transmission has helped me in the past by accurately diagnosing a worn out driveshaft+carrier bearing which my previous mechanic did not diagnose. Since then, I've taken my vehicle back for major work on the front suspension and braking system. They have gone above and beyond expectations and courtesy.

Alonso transmission was recommenced to me by my good friend and mechanic Doug. I contacted Mr. Rey Alonso at the transmission repair shop, who provided me with information regarding the repairs, along with the cost of the needed repairs. The repairs were completed on a timely schedule and no other problems have been noted. The job was professionally completed and the manner in which I was treated was excellent. I have rated Alonso transmission and Mr. R. Alonso, a five (5) star operation and highly recommend Alonso transmission to anyone with transmission problems.

My mechanic gave me Alonso's Transmission contact information after diagnosing a bad transmision. I called on a Saturday at 10 AM and Ray sent a tow to my house to pick up the key and then to the car's location, for free. Ray told me i was going to have to wait untill Monday for an in-depth diagnosis and a no-strings-attached estimate. On Monday, when Ray called me with the results and explained all my options in detail, I asked him for a couple hours to make a decision and called, literally, every single Transition shop in Miami with the diagnostic given by Ray and none could top off the expertise; The price maybe, but i was looking for a permanent fix, not an unknown place with no warranty on what they're doing. I called Ray back and gave him the go ahead. He called me later with another problem my car was having and they detected and of course, took care of it at no extra charge. Ray kept calling me throughout the week, keeping me informed on what was going on with my car and reassuring me that everything was going as expected; I then realized that i had made the right choice with this guy. He completely washed away any doubt i might have had and my car was done in record time. Today i took my car back for the 10 days check up they recommend and everything is working fine. I'm very very sceptical about pretty much everything and Ray, with his amazing customer care and his team knowledge proved me wrong. I couldn't ask for anyone better. I owe him now Cuban pastelitos and Argentinian empanadas! ����

Excellent service from beginning to end. My truck was having shifting problems and could of sworn it was transmission problems. I went to another garage and without even looking at the truck they wanted to charge me $1400. At Alonso Transmission, Ray had it looked into and sure enough it was something completely different for a lot less. Glad there is still honest mechanics out there not just trying to make money off you. Will definitely refer

THESE GUYS COULD NOT FIX MY TRUCK!!! But they pointed me in the right direction. After going to three mechanics shops and 2 transmission shops, Ralph from Alonso Transmissions told me it definitely wasn't a transmission problem. He referred me to a mechanic that he relies on to fix other problems. Finally I find a transmission and auto repair shop that aren't looking to make a quick buck and screw you over. Ralph was very personable and cordial. Every person that arrived after me was treated like family. He genuinely took care that I left with my problem resolved. The shop that he referred was also knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problem. Turned out to be a clogged catalytic converter. Now I'm off to a muffler shop. Thank you Ralph for your help.

Amazing Service and Expertise. Really happy with the way my 05 Accord turned out. I'm hoping it can last me another 150,000 miles. I will definitely recommend the Alonso Brothers to anyone needing Transmission work done!
