After obtaining his BS, he went on to receive his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Fernandez continued at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX where he completed a two year internship in General Surgery and a four year residency in Otolaryngology.
