Never trust them with your loved one! My father spent a week here after surgery and their negligence nearly killed him. He was vomiting and not touching his liquid diet food tray and it never occurred to any of the nurses that he could be dehydrated. He steadily declined and when we begged the nurses to get help for him they said he was depressed and just being difficult. (Thank you, Donna) The doctor at the facility never even looked at him. Thank God he accidentally pulled out his feeding tube and ended up back at Holy Family because by this time his kidneys were shutting down. They gave him 4 liters of fluid in the ER alone! And C.M. is right.. they are so understaffed it takes forever to get an answer to a call. And my dad was on a liquid diet and at least three times he was brought solid food. We talked to the Administrator after this whole mess and he pretty much said.. oh well, old people die. I feel sorry for any of the people still stuck in that hellhole.

I had my family there and he had his light on to go to the bathroom and no one came for over 20 min while the light was on 2 nurses were talking at the nurses station about personal things not helping the aides. Also we had the light on for pain meds and the nurse took over a 1/2 to bring his meds. It is one of the most unprofessional places i have ever been the workers don't want to be there. Also his meals were never right even after speaking to the dining manager.

God forbid your parent passes away and they die owing a balance! They will still send you bills, knowing they died broke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very heartless if you ask me!!!!!!!!!Why would they be so cold and still send bills.? Also not a very communicative establishment, my Mom fell and I was not informed, she also contracted pneumonia, not informed about that as well. I would not put my parent or anyone I cared about into this establishment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
