Chef Rommel is the bomb! Everything was exactly as my wife and I envisioned. We have hosted many parties so I can honestly say Chef Rommel and his crew are not only professionals, but also artists. Their expertise surpasses mere culinary skills and breaches the realm of high art. Chef Rommell's Catering puts equal efforts into their brilliant flavors, tantalizing presentation, and over-the-top service. After having experienced their catering firsthand on several business occasions as well over the last few years, our company can only give the most glowing and enthusiastic recommendation to Chef Rommel's Catering as being the best in New Orleans.

I tried using Rommel's to cater an event, but was treated very unprofessionally. He was 45 minutes late to our meeting and I was not given an opportunity to taste any food prior to my event. There were also many other issues. You would think that I would be somewhat of a priority when I'm spending almost $4000 with them (And payment was due in full prior to the event and a large amount of it HAD to be in cash). Luckily, I was able to hire a different catering company a few days before the event, with the same food and almost $2000 cheaper. His assistant was as helpful as she could be, but he was quite a difficult person to get in touch with. And when I cancelled with them he actually had time to call me back IMMEDIATELY (Shocker, I know right). On the phone he spoke to me as if he was a child not getting his way and actually had the nerve to call me unprofessional. Let's be clear here, I called them a little over 2 months before my event was set to take place and I was never given the opportunity to taste anything and they didn't have a completed contract ready for me until 4 days prior to the event. The only reason I cancelled was because I was honestly nervous as to if they would actually be there or not due to the way they handled everything and the fact that he would already have my money. I'm sure the food is probably great, but I was never given a chance to find out for myself. Save yourselves the headache and don't waste your time with them.
