I've had two bad interactions with George's Plumbing. The first time was when we had a gas leak & needed a pipe replaced. They needed to cut the pipe & we don't have outdoor electrical outlets, so I allowed them to use our super long extension cord that was ran from an outlet in our garage. They stole our extension cord when they completed the job! The second time I dealt with them was due to a water leak. Two men came out & they were extremely rude! One of them went marching toward the back yard, where I had my 2 dogs. I asked him to please wait so that I could bring them inside & crate them. He ignored me & continued to march to the back yard. I told him that they were runners & I had a small baby, so couldn't chase after them by myself & to please allow me time to crate them. He kept saying "That's ok" & continued toward the gate. I told him it was NOT ok & to please stop. He ignored me. Fortunately, I was able to get the worst of the 2 inside before he made it to the gate. Eventually I was able to crate both dogs, & the helper kept yelling at one of them to shut up every time she barked because a stranger was in our house. I'd never deal with them again!

My husband made the appointment for this afternoon: "After 12:00 and he will call when he's on his way," so I sat and waited from noon until nearly 4:00. No plumber, no missed calls.I called their office to ask what happened and was told that our name was "in the system" but, if the owner never called in the morning, that meant he wasn't sending anyone. Apparently this is not a fluke, but the way they do business. Had I known this up front, I would've called someone more dependable before taking off work.Note to Mr. George: My crystal ball is broken. Once I've made an appointment, the only way I can know you're not sending someone is if YOU call ME -- and even that should be the exception, not the rule. Expecting the customer to wait for a call to verify you're coming is very unprofessional and sends the message that five minutes of your time to make a call is more valuable than four hours of MY time wasted. I will never attempt to use your service again.
