Wonderful experience. After a horrible experience at another shop Megan was a God send. She was truly amazing and the atmosphere was just so relaxed. Definitely recommend

Terrible customer service! Got a call that my stuff was in... Drove all the way from Baton Rouge only to find that my dress and veil was in, but the topper wasn't in. Would have been nice to know this before I headed out there... The bridal attendant couldn't tell me when the topper would be in since the computer showed that it was in fact supposed to have been in with the dress and veil... Still waiting for the topper! The attendant was rude and very unprofessional!

Terrible customer service on my first visit. It took 45 minutes before anyone greeted us or asked if we needed help. We explained we had begun trying on dresses already, as no one had come to help us. We were told we are not allowed to do this. There were maybe 5 customers in the entire store for this instance. The second time I went back, I hadn't made an appointment. I knew what dress I wanted, I just needed to verify between two sizes before completing my order. The woman at the desk by the door was very rude. A consultant helped me into the dressing room and I was able to decide on the correct size to order. Tanya (I believe this was her name) was the only pleasant part of this experience. I purchased my bridesmaid dress this day with her. The expected due date was 12/26 back in store. It came in early on 11/18/16. I received a phone call that I had 1 week to pick it up, this was not told to me at time of purchase. I explained that I lived 1.5 hours away from the store, worked full time and would be out of town that weekend. I then ended up having to pay for shipping because I couldn't make it to the store before the week was over. Please note, this was also the week of Thanksgiving and Black Friday. If asked to walk in a wedding again, the first question I will ask is "Do I have to deal with David's Bridal in Metairie?" I refuse to ever to business here again. Terrible customer service!

This David's bridal in Metairie Louisiana gets no stars. I was told I didn't have an appointment so I had to wait 2 hours. When the consultant did come she told me to pick out what I liked and she would be back. They are absolutely no help . I was told if you don't see it in the store they don't have . To basically look around and find what I wanted and meet her at the register. The icing on the cake was when another customer was buying a dress and I said I like it .. my consulting told me well do you want to try it because it may look better on you because you are smaller than her. News flash lady ..that's the worst thing you could have said because even though I am smaller I have a weight issues. She then walked over to the lady and told her how nice the dress fit her. I was so angry because I knew what she had just told me about the lady and her dress. So I grabbed my lil purse and walked out. Lying to someone about the dress she is supposed to wear on the most important day of her life is horrible and I want ever step foot in David's bridal again. They need to clean house and get b workers that actually care about the customers and not just commission. The best part of my trip was eating at the restaurant dons across the street from davids. It made my trip much better

This store gets a solid zero stars. I made an appointment and arrived about 10 minutes early. Had to fill out paperwork that I already filled out when booking the appointment. Then was told to browse around until my appointment time. About 15 minutes after the appointment time the sales consultant came and asked me where the dresses that i liked were. I told her that I was told not to pick out anything until the consultant came she seemed shocked by this. The consultant Keri then told me to browse around and find dresses that I like then she walked away. When she came back I had asked about the dresses that were on sale since the biggest sale of the year was going on and she told me that there were no sale dresses in the store I then asked if she could explain the layout of the store since I was becoming very overwhelmed by everything and wanted a little direction and she said that everything is mixed in by size. I at this point was already getting frustrated and her attitude was not helping. After browsing the very few dresses that are in the store I selected two dresses and went to the fitting room. The fitting room is very small and the door opened facing a wall of mirrors which is awful because they put the dresses that you select on a hook outside the room and when dresses do not fit having to have help bring the dress into the room from the hook puts you in an awkward situation. (yes they have men that work at this store and yes men are in the store shopping and yes i did feel very uncomfortable every time the door was opened). After trying on the two dresses I told Keri I'm sorry for wasting her time because she did absolutely nothing to help me find the perfect wedding dress she did not offer to grab another size or style she just stood there talking to another employee. When leaving I spoke to the manager and she was also very rude and did not make the situation any better.



Overall if you are looking to have a wow moment and be in an atmosphere that is inviting and exciting look elsewhere. This store is awful and the employees are rude and make you feel like you are nothing but a giant waste of their time. Will never step foot in this store ever again. Honestly this store is like the fast food of wedding dresses and even if they were giving dresses away for free I still would not step foot here again.

I want to make sure everyone knows the following pertains to the David’s Bridal in Metairie, LA only.

I went online and scheduled an appointment to try on wedding dresses. I had printed out a copy of the ones I liked online. When my mom and I got there we told the receptionist we had an appointment and she had me fill out a form with my information on it (which I had already filled out to make the appointment) I gave her my print out of the dresses I liked. She suggested that I get a mermaid style dress because I it would hide my stomach from having kids. NEWS FLASH!!! I don’t have any kids. I may not be a stick figure model but I am by no means overweight and even if I was, why would any sales person tell you this?!!!

She then gave us a booklet of dresses and told us to go look. She didn’t bother telling us if someone would be there soon to help us or explain how the dresses were arranged. At this point I was very confused. What was the point of making an appointment if they don’t help you find dresses? After about 20 minutes of walking around trying to find stuff that I liked a salesperson came up to me and said she was the person assigned to my appointment. I told her what kind of dress I wanted (one with not a lot of frills) and she told me they don’t carry many like that. I gave her my list of dresses I liked anyway and she said she would pull a few for me. Well another 15 minutes goes by and she is nowhere to be found so my mom and I just started pulling dresses on our own.

The saleswoman reappeared finally and gave us a dressing room and said she would be back in a bit to help me try them on. Well as you can guess she didn’t show back up. My mom helped me try them on and go pick different ones. We also tried getting other sales people to help us and they basically ignored us.

We were finally so fed up that we decided to leave but needed to find our sales woman first because she had my papers with the dresses I liked with her. When we found her she tried to say that we were not her appointment and pawn us off on another sales woman. The new sales lady asked for the appointment sheet but it had suddenly disappeared. After talking with the manager we found out that the original sales woman lied. She was in charge of our appointment.

I think that anyone going to the Metairie David’s Bridal should be aware that the sales people are very sketchy, rude and not helpful at all. I had planned on buying my wedding dress from them, bridesmaid dresses, and flower-girl dresses but not anymore!

Our experience here was very good. The people who waited on us were very kind and not only listened to what we said but more importantly notice what we liked and disliked about gowns then pulled the perfect gown while staying in our price range. We loved it.

Absolutely incompotent. They order me shoes that I was purchasing at the time instead of my dress. Needless to say, now I'm screwed. My sales rep, Sue, is a complusive liar and totally self involved and never offered an apology for her royal F up. I went to the Slidell store instead and had great service from a rep., Brandy, she was apologizing for what the Metairie store had done, a total doll. I will never shop at David's Bridal again though and never recommend them to anyone.

My daughter recently chose her bridesmaids dresses, some accessories.The bridal consultant, Lorraine was quite accomodating to the bridal party. When my mother, the 86 year old grandmother of the bride chose her dress, Lorraine again was very patient and helpful in assisting her with dresses, colors, and accessories.



The bridesmaid dresses arrived before the due date, and each one was the size ordered with no problems.



Overall it was a very pleasant experience. The staff in general were pleasant, and the seamstress, Thomasie was eager to help the grandmother with alterations.



As MOB, we visited several bridal salons, and David's had a wide variety of color choices, and styles to choose.

This is the worst David's Bridal in Louisiana. I called to see if they had a certain shoe that I wanted to have for my wedding and they left me on hold for 30 min. and when they finally picked up the phone they asked me if I wanted to leave a message!! Idiots!!!

I would NOT recommend anyone to buy their wedding dress from David's Bridal. I went there and had very poor service with my bridal attendant. I brought in a picture and model number of the dress (from their website) I wanted and she couldn't find it in the store and most of the time I couldn't even find her to help me. I ordered my dress and they told me it would be in by a certain date (and don't be surprised if it came in 3-4 weeks early) and 4 weeks after the date they told me I would have my dress by is still not in. I have called them several times asking about my dress and everyone keeps telling me it's not in, they can't find out when it's being shipped to them and they get shipments everyday so they will call me when they get it. I feel as though they took my money and now they are done helping me. My wedding is 7 weeks away and I still don't have my dress and don't know when i'm getting it!!!!!

I would not recommend this place to any bride to buy her dress from. The service from the bridal attendant was terrible and very pushy towards accessories. She picked them out and embarrassed me at the counter when I wouldn't buy them. My dress did not come in when they promised it. My wedding is 7 weeks away and I have no dress and they say the can not check on it to see when they will recieve it. I feel as though once I paid them they no longer want to help me.
