NEVER AGAIN! I have been a bridesmaid now over 10 times, and I have never encountered a bridal store that does NOT do alterations! But apparently, they do not. I recently had to buy a bridesmaid dress there. They did not have a sample for me to try on, so I trusted the sales rep's recommendation. She recommended a size 20, the largest size they make for the dress! (I normally wear an 8). There was no way this was right, but I agreed to get an 18. They charged me extra $ for it being "plus-sized." When the dress came in, it literally fell off of me in the dressing room. I told the sales rep that their recommendations were not correct for this dress, and she proceeded to tell me it was my fault! And to add another insult, she insisted that based on my measurements, I was plus sized and I should have gotten the size 20! The dress cost almost $400 after the alterations. When I brought it in to be fitted, the alterations lady asked me why I had bought the dress 3 sizes too big! It was one thing to be forced to buy a dress soo big, but to then be treated so rudely when all I wanted was an apology and a promise this wouldn't happen again with regards to this dress for future bridesmaids. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
