Located in Mesquite, Texas, Mesquite Academy serves students in grades 1 through 12 and offers a variety of educational opportunities for at-risk students. It is a part of the Mesquite Independent School District, which serves more than 34,000 students in over 40 educational facilities. The school district operates more than 30 elementary schools, nearly 10 middle schools and approximately five high schools. Mesquite Academy offers an accelerated instructional program that provides at-risk students with an environment for educational advancement. The academy employs several counselors, who offer guidance and scholarship information to students. It also provides health and food services to students.
