Dallas with TLC came out to look/bid on a shower repair job. After fine tuning the estimate and agreeing to the price I just had to wait for the contract in the mail. Didn't come when it should cuz the office gal forgot to put my Unit #. Ok fine. The I get the contract, my last name spelled wrong 2 times after correcting the gal it was still wrong. Reading over the contract was ok, until it said see estimate. Well in looking at estimate - they sent me the wrong estimate. Nor was there and estimate # to indicate on the contract that they were doing the right job. On his estimate it only listed supplies and time so it was basically a sheet telling him the cost of the job. I told him, this means nothing to me and could he describe the job in layman terms. It was a job for repairing a shower - his list was useless to me as far as I am concerned he could have come in and replaced my kitchen sink?!?!?! That is how sparse the information was. I had also made it really clear that I needed this project done in 2 weeks - small job so should be no problem. I wanted a guarantee though as I am losing rental income due to this job. He said ok, apologized for the errors and would take care of it. I never heard from him. I sent him an email maybe 5 days later, saying if you don't want to do the job please let me know, otherwise I am still waiting to get corrected contract. Still now word. What a coward and what a lazy business sense. If this is any indication of how he works then forget it! Glad I learned before it was to late.

TLC Home repair did some re-model work on my home. They were prompt (showed up when they said they would) and they were very meticulous about their work. Upon completion the person handling my project did a thorough inspection with me to make sure I was completely satisfied. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
