It is the usual wait on hold to make an appointment. The doctor talked to me and answered my questions. A lab was scheduled. After that, everything went south. Communication from this office is horrible on a good day. A couple of weeks went by and then I scheduled the test. Another 2 weeks went by and I received one phone call only. Unfortunately, I was outside with my new puppy. Even though I authorized it, no comprehensible message was left. I have spent over 16 hours trying to reach the nurse who called me to no avail. Her mailbox is permanently full. I eventually had a followup call from the lab which I missed and again I cannot reach that person because only one person can schedule for AOC patients. I have wasted hours trying to find out my results and what is going on. I suppose that I am not dying, because I think someone might bother to call me a second time. THIS IS THE WORST PATIENT FOLLOW-UP I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AND I AM NOT YOUNG. Perhaps they have adopted the VA model of care and didn't think to tell me.
