If we knew then what we know now we would have chosen a better place for mom. We went to visit her and we stood outside ringing the doorbell for at least 4 minutes in 110 degree heat. My mom's window was wide open and she was covered up with a blanket. Her roommate was sitting on the side of her bed naked. The caregiver was on the couch sleeping. That's why she didn't answer the door. Not only this the food was cheap like example a sandwich with only a piece of meat with mustard and cheap chips and a twinkie. The worst was when our mom died and we asked for our refundable deposit and what else was owed to us. The owner Jill had a fit and said she didn't have the money to.pay us and we would have to wait for it until she got her money on the 6th of the month when her other residents pay her. Well we had to wait for the deposit money back for three weeks and an entire month for the rest of what she owed us. In the end she still owes us 60.00 but told my husband i had to clean your mom up when she died. Really that's her Job. Unreal please don't put your family member in this place.
