First visit everyone was very friendly great team

Hi there, I went to this dentist a little over 6 months ago, they were not friendly when I first came in and I was told that I would need 4 fillings and also have an option to get antiseptic in my mouth for my cleaning to prevent my gums from bleeding, I've never been told my gums would bleed from a simple cleaning, she said that since it's been longer than 6 months since my last cleaning, I told her it would have been 8 months and still don't think my gum should be bleeding unless she's the one causing it. I asked her what is the name of the medicine she would be using to prevent this and she didn't know the name, only knew it costs $10 extra along with the other $200 for the fillings, which mind you I've had 1 cavity in my life, how do I all of a sudden have 3 new potential problems in 8 months, I have always been told I have great teeth. They still persisted to sell me on anything and everything else available, "oh a new deal on teeth whitening and only said amount for a cancer check." While my cleaning the hygienist would take many breaks to watch TV. And didn't even floss my teeth!! She used force and same with the dentist when he did my fillings, my jaw was in so much pain after leaving. Now again, this was over 6 months ago and who do I get a text from 2 days ago? Family Dentistry informing me I have an appointment on Monday, Martin Luther King Day, well on that Saturday I had replied saying to cancel it, well that didn't matter because they are closed and when they called this am to inform me I had accrued a $25 missed appointment charge I was irate informing her that is unacceptable to remind me on a day they are not open, Kelly the manager said that even if I did want to cancel I would have had to call the day before I received the reminder... Are you kidding me?! Please don't waste your time like I did and yes I also wish I had read these previous reviews before I had gone... And also a huge red flag was: the dentist's teeth were disgusto!!

All they care about is money, they do not care about patients. The staff lies and will cheat you out of money. I have spent thousands of dollars in that place and they have no regard for your time or money. Once you've been cheated out of lots of money, they will treat you like shit. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. KELLY IS A BITCH.

Though I lived in another state, I have know the staff and Drs. at Family Dentistry for 10 years. They can get you in at a moments notice, they are friendly, imformative and caring. I would definately recommend them to my friends and family.

Well I couldn't agree more with L.Kay. It's too bad I didn't find their reviews earlier after all the bad work they've done on me. I absolutely agree that they do NOT listen to the patient and their work is painful, shoddy and unprofessional. When confronted they get angry, defensive, and downright lie to you. As a customer asking questions is our job, but at this business if you ask a simple question like why or how immediately they get defensive and rude. I was shocked by this but now I see as I've been searching that I am not the only one. Also after having work done that has been causing trouble and pain I've been told to just "deal with it". Obviously there is something wrong but since this office is most concerned about money...rather than at least pretending to care about the customer...than re-work is not an option, even though that seems to be the only answer for this pain. These people are in it for the money. Their blatant disregard for the person borders on torture. Their work is shoddy and and painfull and they could not care less. ###I invested over 4 thousand dollars (up front money) to have my top teeth extracted and a denture put in. I was refused any meds for pain and the denture is so badly made that I look like Marge Simpson. It falls out if I sneeze, cough, laugh or even just talk. It has hurt from day one but all my complaints for 2 months, have been ignored. They refuse to return my money. I STRONGLY ADVISE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
