I don't think the tint is work for newbaby. the tint can't block the sun 100% and the harsh sun would bother the newborn. A pair of side window sun shade is needed.The kids car sunshade Shields your baby effectively from the heat and glare of sunshine.Helps baby to sleep while travelling. What can I say, we just had Chris do our seventh vehicle since we moved to the island in 1998. Chris and Auto Sunshade were recommended to us in 98 and we have gone back six times. It's so simple, you make an appointment, drop it off, go back at the appointed time and drive off in a shaded vehicle. In 18 years not one problem, not even one bubble ! ! I do highly recommend Chris and Auto Sunshade If you are looking for quality workmanship. Oh did I mention how good the dark windows really set off the look against the gold metallic paint, wow .

Auto Sunshade provides very articulate work. This will be the 4th car that he has tinted for me. I have no complaints and I am always satisfied with his work.

Auto Sunshade has done several cars for me over the years and has always done a superior job. They just did my new Fiat and again I am very pleased with the top quality job that was done. The work was done just as promised. The first thing, when I get a car is to have the windows tinted at Auto Sunshade.

As looking at older reviews.......I would like to add, that we have come to Chris for years. Obviously being in business as long as he has must say something. Yes Chris did ask me about the 8AM appointment. Which is understandable. Tinting has got to be a very time consuming job and I could imagine the better job you would get if he wasn't rushed. He is a one man crew. He was willing to work around my schedule as soon as I told him I couldn't, I think he just ask everyone that. Probably also easier working on more than one at a time. He has always done an awesome job with no complaints! We have gone to him for years and will continue!! Good job Chris!!

I feel that when anyone runs into businesses that is as unprofessional/rude and just plainly nasty to their customers, that everyone needs to know. It’s only fair to know “who” you can trust on our Island! and it's NOT this business.



This business was professional but Chris Ramos (owner) has LOST IT and apparently doesn't want any business. Therefore, I feel that I need to let people know what is truly going on.



Please don’t use this business!! I will NEVER recommend this business to ANYONE! I used this business in 2005 (2 times w/no problem) and have a “lifetime warranty” on auto tinting for 2 vehicles. This morning the OWNER refused to make an appt with me except for ONLY at 8am in the morning (weekday only). I explained that I have a kid that is school age and asked if I could drop the vehicle off at 9am he yelled at me and told me 8am or nothing! I did ask if he is open on Saturday he said yes and that he had appts available so I asked him if I could drop my vehicle off for the day on Saturday, he TOLD me to leave his business. Not sure what I did or said, cause he was doing all of the talking. I left and vowed to never return.



I have found another business on Merritt Island and they are going to do my warranty work PLUS do the 3rd vehicle for me....oh and it pays to do your homework cause this other business was over $30 CHEAPER than this jerk is and SAME WARRANTY!!

I've had Chris tint several of my vehicles over the past few years..Everything has been perfect from the customer service to the product quality and installation..Nothing but good things to say from me..I would recommend this place to anyone..

Chris is a very talented guy! He has tinted the 3 cars that I have and I have never had anything but great experiences with him! He is a nice guy and very professional!!!

Chris did an excellent job on my Jeep Wrangler. I just recently had them done by someone else and they left lines and bubbles in the tint film. Then they didn't stand by their warranty. Chris did a perfect job the first time. I will tell my friends to go to him and will bring my truck to him when that tint fails.

Over many years, many cars have been done by Chris. The work has always been the best and holds up year after year. I will only have Chris do my cars as I know that I will get a job done right the first time.

My friends, family, and I have used Auto Sunshade for over 20 years. We have had Chris do a lot of cars for us and the work is always top quality and is profeasll

Same as other review....We took our new car to chris and when we went to pick up , he forgot to do front strip, so we had to wait. When he finished I looked over car and outside and inside of car was a mess (razor blade on the seat, head rests on floor, and he didnt wipe down the interior and exterior very well from over spray from windows!), I also pointed out what looked like a cut or crack in tint and bubbles and lines in other windows....he said let it dry and i'll fix back window.



We waited about 2 weeks for drying and you could see how bad of a job he really did. Every window had a problem , so I took it back to him and he saw how bad it was and told me he would take tint back off and give me a refund. He couldn't seem to fit me in anytime soon and wanted to keep car overnight to fix , which I did not want to do. This guy has a bad attitude , not friendly , and everytime I called or went to see him , he didn't seem to know who I was! (Did I do work for you??) I asked again for refund and he said that he has to take tint off and I will not let this guy touch my car again!!!



I called a (professional) window tinter and Im looking at $160 to strip and $160 to tint again.........DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY FOR WINDOW TINTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had used Chris in the past on several of our vehicles. He used to do great work. However, that is no longer the case.



Our brand new Mazda 5 took two FULL days to get squared away, and even then, was not right. Chris is very defensive about workmanship issues, makes excuses rather than trying to resolve the issue, and can not keep to a time schedule at all. In fact, we had to call him to find out what the situation was. I was floored to find out that the car we had brought to be fixed at 8am was still not done until after 7pm that day. Seems that another customer's Escalade took priority over fixing what should not have been an issue to begin with.



Bad attitude, poor customer service, and shoddy workmanship - not worth it, unless you are a masochist. Take my advice and go somewhere else. I know that the three cars I have need of tinting work to be done on are going to someone besides Chris.
