Fieler Elementary School is a learning center that is allied with Merrillville Community School Corporation, which provides educational services to nearly 6,500 students in over five schools. Its amenities include a gymnasium, cafeteria, library media center, sports field, art and music room and over 25 classrooms. Fieler Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher organization that provides financial support through fundraising for special field trips, student assemblies, classroom materials and vocal music programs. The school has a staff of approximately 30 teachers and 25 support personnel. Constructed in 1957, Fieler Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 500 students in kindergarten through fourth grade.
