A truly awful experience. For starters, I couldn't get a call back to save my life, I had to continually call and pester the office to dispatch someone to come and take a look at what I feared was a slab leak. I was told that someone would be by "first thing in the morning" as I was supposedly the first customer. However, several hours and many phone calls to the office later, someone finally showed up (around 10:30 AM). The first crew to show up spent several hours trying to find the source of the leak but to no success. After about three hours of labor that I was charged for, this crew literally gave up and said someone else would have to take a look at it. I was later told that one of the members of this first crew was the nephew of Mr. Chapman and basically got to pick and choose his work (and in my case, not fix a slab leak). The second crew who came out two days later, were very professional and courteous and had the leak fixed within an hour or so. Ultimately I was charged an ungodly amount for was was told to me by the second crew to be a reasonably simple slab leak. Not only does Chapman plumbing have some lazy, spoiled workers that choose not to do their job, but they also charge from the time the employees leave their office. I was charged for the three hours it took them to transit from downtown Meridian to Lauderdale (which should take a normal human 45-50 minutes max). I was able to argue Mr. Chapman's unreasonable bill down slightly, but overall I'm am extremely displeased with the service of his company and will be alerting as many people as possible to not use them (unless you're willing to pay an exorbitant amount of money for poor service). It's a shame this website doesn't have negative star ratings.
