He's a nice guy but I waited almost two hours for him to show up. Then we he showed up he did a brief exam of my daughter and found nothing wrong. 5 months later I received a huge bill for it. Honestly disappointed next time I'll go to urgent care.

Extremely smart and friendly. It doesn't matter if I call with a question he always gets back with the answers. He truly cares about his patients, which is a rare quality these days. I would recommend him to every parent.

Such a knowledgeable, friendly Dr.. What fantastic, pleasant visits we have. Even had a problem on the weekend and called the weekend number expecting to get an on-call nurse. Instead I was greeted with a friendly hello from Dr. Joyce's home phone! I would highly recommend Dr. Joyce.

Dr. Joyce is a wonderful doctor and pleasure to deal with. We were so lucky to find him, while attempting to get a second opinion for our daughter's problems. We were being told by another doctor that her problems could not be solved, only to have found Dr. Joyce and he was able to correct the problem with a simple medication and slight change in diet. Dr. Joyce takes the time to answer questions and offers terrific insight without talking over your head. We feel very lucky and blessed to have such a caring doctor available in our area.

I took my granddaughter to Dr. Joyce for a couple of years and I finally figured out he was lying ot me about things. Then she had such a bad pain for a long time around hernavel area and I kept taking her back. Finally he said that nothing was wrong.Too make her go to school. So I did andthe second day when she had the pain again she begged me to not send her to school. I almost did but by 4pm shewas in so much pain so I took her to ER and they sent here by ambulance to Boise and done an emergency appendectomy. They said it was alomst to rupture. No thanks I would NOT recommend this Doctor to any one

Doctor Joyce has been our pediatrician since my daughters were born and we truely feel blessed to have him in our lives. He was always so comforting to us as new parents when our baby Sierra was sick. He would go the extra mile to call us at home with results. What a guy. No other doctor will ever come close to him. Thanks again Doctor Joyce.

Thank heavens for Doctor Joyce. He is the best Pediatrician I have ever had for my kids. we used to go to primary health and had an awful visit with my son and I never went back. I called looking for a recommended dr. and they told me Dr. Joyce was great! and boy were they right. he listens to me and answers my questions or concerns. he's always very smart, organized and detailed. one night at like 3 am I had to call him at home, regarding my daughter he answered and helped calm us and help us know what to do. he wasn't annoyed and so very helpful as always and he's always willing to do whatever it takes to help us and our kids. I am very thankful he's our Pediatrician and would reccomend him highly to anyone!

I was lucky enough to happen upon Dr Joyce when another pediatrician in his first practice in town was not available to see my child. It only took that first visit to ditch my first choice pediatrician for Dr Joyce. Almost 12 years and # kids later, we're still with him. I've followed him throughout his moves and I won't change my children's Insurance unless I know they will have the ability to still see Dr Joyce. I never mind if he's running behind because I know he'll give us the same care and time he's been providing to the patients and families previous to us. He goes beyond the care and time needed or provided by other pediatricians. He also has a fabulous staff and Nurse. Nurse Nancy matches Dr Joyce's care perfectly.

Dr. Joyce has been seeing my now 3-yr-old since my child was just a few days old. He is an OUTSTANDINGLY CARING physician who listens to you even when you babble on... He has a conservative, rational approach to medications and tests, never wanting to do a lot of extra things that aren't needed (but certainly willing to do what IS needed). He even answers his own home phone when on-call, and he is soooo very calm and kind and reassuring even when you are panicked. Never egotistical or condescending, never ignores your concerns. His office staff is very friendly, and his nurse is very experienced and dedicated as well, often returning my calls after-hours even when it is something minor. And they always seem to be able to fit you in for urgent needs. I'm so spoiled -- I don't think we'll be able to leave Boise for 15 years, when my son outgrows Dr. Joyce's age range!

We have been going to Dr. Joyce for about 2 years now (since my second son was born). He is always thorough and takes the time you need. He respects my opinion and intuition as a mom and always explains his diagnosis/observations. He is a kind and patient man and is always on call personally, he doesn't have an answering service. He has many times taken time on a saturday night to calm my fears and point me in the right direction when we have needed him.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Joyce to anyone looking for a pediatrician. He is so good with babies. I am a first time mommy and he really impressed me with his patience in answering all of my many questions. He is so gentle with my son and takes the time at each of our appointments to chat with me about his progress and development and make sure I go away with all of my questions and concerns dealt with.
