The Washington Division, a part of URS Corporation, provides engineering, construction and technical services for environmental management, industrial, infrastructure, mining and power projects. It also serves federal and national governments. The division offers design and build, operation and maintenance services for transportation projects, including airports, mass transit systems and toll roads. The Washington Division has start-up and modification expertise for power generation facilities and electricity transmission and distribution systems. It manages high-risk nuclear waste management and disposal programs for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority in the United Kingdom. The division provides facility management and maintenance services for commercial and industrial clients.
