I'm a South Louisiana man... I had to take my son to Philly for surgery at Shriner's hospital and looked through the local seafood scene during our 10-day stay. We ate at Alex's very small locale, and while there was only room for about 12 people, the seafood was absolutely amazing. Prices were reasonable- not great but not nasty either. This young man makes seafood that will satisfy you in a way that only family-secret style REAL quality cooking can do. I was thousands of miles from home, and had seafood that could stand up and slap the best of New Orleans right in the mouth. I do NOT say this lightly. Alex's seafood is the REAL DEAL.
