Mercer Area High School serves students in grades seven through 12 and offers a variety of learning and extracurricular programs. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as social studies, English, mathematics, science, health and physical education, foreign languages, computers, music, arts, and family and consumer science. The school provides various extracurricular activities, including band, choir, the National Honor Society, speech team and photography club. It offers several athletic activities, such as football, basketball, cheerleading, soccer, cross country, wrestling, baseball and track. In addition, the school offers a guidance program that includes student tutoring and classroom discussions. It is administered by the Mercer Area School District. The high school is located in Mercer, Pa.
