Terrible human beings. A family member dropped off my wife's wedding dress here after our wedding. She failed to pick it up. Around 6-12 months later my wife asked about it and we called Ruthanne's only to find out that they gave away the wedding dress. You can imagine how my wife feels about this. Per "Wisconsin Code Chapter 779. Liens. 779.71," they were legally obligated to notify the owner via registered mail prior to giving away the dress. They did not do this. They could have at least called. They say they called but our family member received no calls and no voice mails about the dress. I am still contemplating legal action even though it would be cost negative for me. Anyway, I do not recommend Ruthanne's. If nothing else, how heartless was this of Ruthanne's? Why not just call? Its a wedding dress. It has sentimental value. Anyone should know this. Give away anything else without thinking about it and I would somewhat understand. There are just certain things that should be obvious. Ruthanne's is terrible. Terrible dry cleaner and terrible human beings.

I've been going to Ruthanne's for four years now and she does great work. I've never received anything short of fantastic service here, and I disagree with the other reviewer. The owner is a sweetheart.

Don't go there. Mean, aggressive owner who didn't take responsibility for ruining 2 items. Not a good thing to say about the place.
