I have had numerous issues with several products they represent that I had purchased at there retail center on Plaza Blvd. I have contacted customer service at that specific location and spoke to a number of different employees on various occations,literally got no where!!!! Was told the RC professional would call me back and of course never did! I had asked to speak to management several times. Seems as if every employee calls them selves "THEE MANAGER" They all seem as if its a joke, some sort of laughing matter, not when you spend thousands on your kids toys! They all seem to never be able to resolve any of these issues i have ever had with any of the products I have purchased! The last purchase of over $300 was a simple repair that lasted literally 4 minutes of run time then burned up (caught fire) I asked to return this specific purchase and was told they will not return the merchandise due to my behavior (seriously?) I was also aksed to exit the store immediately in front of numerous customers. WOW is this how you resolve matters? I had filed a complaint with Hobby Town USA corporate and was told I would be reached within 24 business hours and of course no one ever called me back. I have had it with this obsurd kind of customer service, the products they represent are not some inexpensive throw away toys, they are very expensive with zero customer service.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS, YOU ARE BETTER OFF PURCHASING ONLINE, TRUST ME!!!!!

I have been a avid RC 1/10 scale racer for many years with always believing in buying local, but when I moved to the area, I had a rude awakening trying to shop at Hobby Town in Mentor. They are VERY rude there, thinking that since they work there, they are Gods gift to RC's. They treated me like I was an inconvenience to them when I was looking to drop some money after a long winter season. Too bad for them. And I have been back there to buy emergency stuff for the last minute buy. I do NOT recommend this place AT ALL. Get some real RC hobbyists to work there, then maybe they can respect those that might not be in there to buy the Tyko cars. There are PLENTY of online stores that will actually GIVE you a discount and back their products without going through hoops. Read other reviews (Yahoo etc..) on this place in Mentor. Good luck selling your handbuzzers, and model glue Hobbytown, when you need the friendly (knowledgeable) personal help today instead of online buying, you've already lost.
