The veterinarian was very rude. When i tried to ask him questions, he'd hold up his finger like to say "Shut up, I'm talking"--like I was a kid and He was an old-fashioned snarly school teacher. Frankly, he ticked me off. Not one time did he act compassionate towards my little dog-no sweet-talking, loving gestures, nothing. The only other person in the building was a secretary/assistant, and she was ok, not overly friendly, and not loving either. I don't know how people can work with animals and not be loving, kind, and sweet to them. Well, after blood work, an antibiotic shot and an Iv shot -($500.00 btw), we left with the acknowledgement to take her to her home vet when they opened. After doing so, I must brag about our veterinarian clinic here in Ashtabula County. It's the Jefferson veterinarian Clinic. What wonderful, compassionate doctors and staff! They baby-talked my dog, loved on her, and made her feel at ease. I wish they had an emergency clinic in that office for after hours!
