FRUAD! FRUAD! FRAUD! Worst service I have ever had.
You could not pay me enough to go back to this place. They make you get services and treatments that you don’t want or need because, “oh your insurance will cover it”. Menifee Smiles also double bill for their services. I had just moved into town and needed a new dentist. I figure I give Menifee Smiles a try since they are only a mile away from my house. Worst decision I ever made. I went in for a regular sixth month cleaning that my insurance covers in full. I walked out having to pay over $100 out of pocket. A month later I get a statement from my insurance company with almost one thousand dollars billed for my regular cleaning visit. I noticed they had billed my insurance for fluoride treatment and my insurance paid them in full, but I had already paid $36 out of pocket for fluoride. I took my statement to the Menifee Smiles office on 11-8-11, the receptionist said they were sorry and would either credit my account the $36 or send me a check in 4-6 weeks. With the shady charges and poor service I was not about to go back for another visit so I asked for a check. Two months later 1-5-12, still no check so I called the office. The receptionist put me on hold then disconnected me. I visited the office and spoke to the office manager Vivian, she proceeded to tell me that I did not receive my check because I was supposedly undercharged for another service. I showed her my statements and told her what they were doing was fraud. Vivian’s solution was to resubmit a request for my refund which would take another 4-6 weeks and maybe I would get refunded. I tried speaking with the owner of Menifee Smiles who also owns Crossing Dental Group in Perris and works there. He refused to see or speak with me.

We recently had some dental issues that needed to be addressed quickly. Our daughter recommended Menifee Smiles and we are so happy she did. The staff is amazing. My visit was seamless - no wait times - immediate service - my hygienist was Julie Carpenter and I have never been so pleased with a cleaning in all my years. Julie did a thorough cleaning even with major TMJ issues on my end - not one ache or pain afterwards which is unheard of - I look forward to my cleanings now that I know Julie will be providing the service. The Office was clean - well maintained - Dr. Mendoza explained the issues I was having and helped me decide on a reasonable course of action in order to keep my teeth looking great. We will highly recommend Menifee Smiles to our family and friends. Our location is in the Menifee Town Center.

This place will draw you in with a nice office and friendly staff, but beware! They have gone beyond unethical in their dental practices. I went in for a simple cleaning and they said that I needed a root canal, even though I currently had no pain in the tooth. Lo and behold they said that they were able to take care of the problem right then and there! Amazing right? They were willing to drop everything and give me a root canal that would only cost $1200 out of my pocket after insurance. I did not have a good feeling about this, so I walked away. I was with Menifee Smiles for 2 years and recently moved and was seen by a new dentist. I mentioned that my previous dentist said that I needed a root canal. He confirmed that I did not need a root canal. Additionally, my new hygienist noted that there was years of plaque build up underneath my gums due to not being properly cleaned. They are more concerned with racking up big ticket procedures than with simple preventive cleanings and the health of the patient. I will be filling out a complaint with the California Board of Dentisty and I recommend you do the same if you have had these issues. My husband needed some quick dental work and went to the location in Murrieta where he was talked into getting their "insurance plan" good for entire family that could be used at ANY location. I wanted to get a teeth cleaning and figured I'd go to the closer location in Menifee; made the appointment; showed up and was told I couldn't use the dental insurance at their location. I was livid and called the insurance company who told me it could be used at ANY location. They are full-time idiots; they are rude; they are stupid; they are money hungry!
