Great experience! Recently needed 5 tires replaced on our rv. I spoke with Vernon and he took great care of me. Excellent tires and a great price. Guys out back doing the work were knowledgeable and hard working. Whole job done same morning, Had us back on the road with 5 new tires in about two hours. James and Vernon are great to deal with.

I have been using Grimes Tire Pros (Steele-Guiltner) for over 10 years. They have worked on all of my automobiles both foreign and domestic. They also have a great selection of tires in all price ranges. James Weatherly and the staff are always friendly and professional. They analyze the issue and promptly call with a diagnosis. In this day and age, it is difficult to fully trust automobile repair shops. I can honestly say, I trust the repair or tire information I receive from James. He is great at telling you what needs to be repaired immediately, what repairs can wait, and what repairs will help your car operate more efficiently. I will continue to recommend Grimes Tire Pros to friends and associates.

I took my car the week of Thanksgiving to have my brakes repaired because they were squeaking. I was told that the squeaking was coming from my rear brakes and that I needed my tires balanced. I paid $247 for the repairs and went on my way.



The following week I started hearing a strange noise when I let off my brakes so I took it back for them to take a look. After the mechanic drove my car, I was told I was hearing the noise because my water pump was bad.



I allowed them to replace my water pump along with replacing the compressor because my rear window was not defrosting properly. I paid $598 for these repairs only to still hear the noise that was coming from my brakes.



I took the car back so the mechanic could hear the noise I was still hearing. He now said the best he could tell was that the noise was coming from my rotors and he claimed to have repaired it. How about I am not only still hearing the noise but my brakes are still squeaking.



I took the car back a fourth time for them to check out my brakes and to make sure my back window was defrosting properly because it didn't seem to be working. Now they tell me the squeaking is coming from my front brakes. Shouldn't they have been able to tell me this when I was having the rear brakes repaired?



Grimes Tire Pros are horrible and the old guy at the front desk has horrible customer service skills. Stay away if you don't want to spend an excessive amount of money for horrible service.

The Grimes on Hacks Cross is amazing!! Just got my car fixed there last weekend and am very pleased! They were my second stop and should have been my first. They were alot cheaper than the dealership and super friendly and helpful. Not only that but they were able to fix all my little cars problems in one day...they even stayed late!



I can't say enough good things about these guys!!

I received great tires from Grimes but needed other repairs. The repairs I received had careless mistakes made. I got my tires and they did not put the custom valve stem caps back on them. I noticed it as I approached my car. I got breaks and they and almost had a wreck because I could not stop quickly. They apologized and fixed them. Oil change and I got no window sticker to remind me. Small thing but I asked for one. Lots of little things add up. Overall they do the work that you pay for. Its just careless and potentially serious mistakes. I was unhappy and am unsure if I will go back. Coworkers have complained of the same kinds of things.
