Peabody Hotel Group is a subsidiary of Belz Enterprises, a real estate development and management firm. From its origins as a four-acre business begun in the early 1940s by Philip Belz, Belz Enterprises has grown to encompass more than 25 million square feet of building space within the United States. In addition to the renowned Peabody Hotels in Memphis, Tenn., Orlando, Fla., and Little Rock, Ark., the group owns and operates nine other limited-feature to luxury hotels throughout the United States. Peabody Hotel Group manages The Peabody Memphis, a National Register of Historic Places landmark hotel in Memphis with more than 460 guestrooms and nearly 85,000 square feet of meeting space.
